Ingredients
  

  • 2 large slices sourdough bread
  • 1 ball 4.4 oz fresh burrata cheese
  • 2 medium ripe tomatoes sliced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove halved
  • Flaky sea salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 6 –8 fresh basil leaves torn
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic glaze optional

Instructions
 

  • Toast sourdough slices until golden and crisp using a toaster or grill pan.
  • While toasts are warm, rub the cut side of the garlic clove on one side of each toast.
  • Drizzle 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over each toast.
  • Arrange tomato slices over the toasts, slightly overlapping, and season with flaky sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Tear the burrata gently and spoon half onto each toast.
  • Top with torn basil leaves and drizzle balsamic glaze if desired.
  • Serve immediately while the bread is warm and burrata remains creamy.
