Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup frozen banana slices
  • 2/3 cup frozen avocado chunks cut small
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup unsweetened plant milk almond, coconut, or oat
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons cocoa powder or cacao powder
  • 2 teaspoons peanut butter smooth or crunchy
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Let frozen avocado chunks thaw for about 10 minutes.
  • In a high-powered blender, combine banana slices, 2 teaspoons cocoa powder, maple syrup, peanut butter, thawed avocado, and 1/3 cup plant milk.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape and stir as needed.
  • Add more plant milk one tablespoon at a time if blending is difficult.
  • Taste and add additional cocoa powder if a stronger chocolate flavor is desired.
  • Transfer the smoothie to a bowl and add favorite toppings such as fresh banana slices, dark chocolate chips, peanuts, and a peanut butter drizzle.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.

  • Thaw avocado to ensure creamy texture.
  • Use natural peanut butter without additives.
  • Add plant milk gradually for best blending consistency.
