- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup mashed potatoes firm
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
- Fresh parsley for garnish optional
Cook ground beef with minced garlic, chili flakes, soy sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fragrant. Let cool slightly.
Mix the cooked beef with mashed potatoes in a bowl until fully blended. Chill mixture for 20 minutes to ease shaping.
Form the mixture into balls or small logs.
Coat each croquette by rolling in flour, dipping in beaten eggs, then coating with breadcrumbs.
