Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Pour the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • Arrange the sliced bananas evenly over the batter.
  • Mix cinnamon and optional nutmeg in a small bowl, then sprinkle over the bananas.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven and cool slightly before serving.
