  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion diced
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook ground beef with diced onions and bell peppers until beef is browned; drain excess grease.
  • Add beef bouillon powder, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper; stir to combine.
  • Pour in tomato sauce, ketchup, yellow mustard, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce; mix well and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Serve the beef mixture spooned onto hamburger buns and top each sandwich with a slice of American cheese while warm.
