Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups pasta such as lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until al dente.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Ladle soup into bowls and top with ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses.
