Ingredients
  

  • 4 to 5 cups cooked grated potatoes
  • 1 jalapeno finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Avocado oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Gather all ingredients and ensure the potatoes are cooked and grated.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine grated potatoes, chopped jalapeno, egg, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper; mix thoroughly.
  • Take about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a compact ball.
  • Roll each ball in bread crumbs until evenly coated.
  • Heat avocado oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat and carefully fry the potato balls for 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove the fried balls from oil and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
