  • 1 spoon or straw for poking holes

Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix and ingredients required on box
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  • Prepare and bake the vanilla cake according to package instructions in a 9x13-inch pan.
  • Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a bowl.
  • Once baked, poke holes evenly all over the cake using the back of a spoon or a straw.
  • Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
  • Drizzle the cinnamon-sugar butter mixture over the cake and let it absorb.
  • Beat together cream cheese and softened butter until smooth, then add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk, mixing until creamy.
  • Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled cake.
  • Refrigerate the cake for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes
