Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • 3 cloves garlic minced (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 10 oz pasta penne, fettuccine, or choice
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley plus extra for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • Season the chicken with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
  • Add 2 tablespoons butter and 3 cloves minced garlic to the skillet. Stir to coat chicken and cook for another 1-2 minutes, then remove chicken and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt remaining butter over medium heat. Add 2 cloves minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine. Simmer gently, then add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • Cook sauce for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until it thickens slightly.
  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to evenly coat with sauce. Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve pasta topped with garlic butter chicken bites and garnish with extra parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes to the sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu for variation.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.
