Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups plain flour about 250 g
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups liquid coffee creamer about 375 ml
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted (about 4 tablespoons or 60 g)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh cherries diced (about 150 g), plus extra for garnish
  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips about 90 g, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 cup dark chocolate cream cheese spread about 225 g
  • chocolate syrup for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and sugar to combine.
  • Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add eggs, liquid coffee creamer, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Use a fork to blend the wet and dry ingredients until a smooth batter forms.
  • Gently fold diced cherries and mini chocolate chips into the batter until evenly distributed.
  • Preheat and lightly grease the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the heated waffle iron plates and cook until waffles are golden and set.
  • Carefully remove waffles and serve immediately topped with extra cherries, chocolate chips, dollops of dark chocolate cream cheese, and chocolate syrup drizzle.
