Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Roll-Ups

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package 8 oz crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Separate crescent roll dough into triangles along perforations.
  • Spread about 1 tablespoon marinara sauce on each dough triangle, leaving edges clear.
  • Sprinkle 2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce on each triangle.
  • Place 4 to 5 pepperoni slices on top of cheese.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning over the pepperoni.
  • Roll each triangle from the wide end to the narrow end to form a roll-up.
  • Place roll-ups seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush melted butter evenly over the tops of the roll-ups.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of each roll-up.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and let cool a few minutes before serving with extra marinara sauce.
