Ingredients
  

  • 10 to 12 jalapeños halved lengthwise, seeds removed
  • 6 to 8 ounces brie cheese cut into small cubes
  • 1/3 cup blueberry preserves or fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts or pecans optional
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest optional
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds, leaving a few if more heat is desired.
  • Arrange jalapeño halves cut-side up on the baking sheet and place a cube of brie in each cavity.
  • Top each brie-filled jalapeño with blueberry preserves or fresh blueberries.
  • Drizzle lightly with honey and sprinkle with chopped nuts, lemon zest, and a pinch of sea salt if using.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until jalapeños soften slightly and the brie melts.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley and serve warm.
