  • 1 oven

Ingredients

  • 4 sheets graham crackers crushed
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips divided
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 large banana sliced or 1/2 cup banana chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Crush graham cracker sheets into crumbs and sprinkle evenly in the bottom of a lightly greased cast iron skillet.
  • Sprinkle 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips over the graham cracker crumbs.
  • Cover the chocolate chips with mini marshmallows, spreading evenly to cover the skillet bottom.
  • Arrange sliced strawberries and banana on top of the marshmallows.
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans and the remaining 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips over the fruit.
  • Broil in the oven on high for 3-4 minutes until marshmallows become puffy and golden brown, then remove.
  • Let cool for about 5 minutes before scooping and serving with additional graham crackers.
  • For outdoor cooking, place the skillet on a grate over indirect fire heat, heat until marshmallows melt, then cool before serving.

Notes

  • Watch carefully when broiling or heating outdoors to avoid burning chocolate.
  • Try different fruits or nuts for flavor variations.
  • Serve with extra graham crackers for dipping.
