- 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and pat chicken breasts dry.
Combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a small bowl. Rub mixture evenly over chicken.
Optionally, sear chicken in a hot skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side to enhance flavor.
Whisk together heavy cream, grated Parmesan, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and dried thyme until smooth.
Place seasoned chicken in a greased baking dish, pour creamy sauce over chicken, and cover with foil.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove foil for last 5 minutes to brown the chicken.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Substitute chicken thighs for a juicier flavor.
- Use cream alternatives for a lighter sauce.
- Leftovers refrigerate well for 2 days.
