This delicious and easy peanut butter mug cake is perfect for a quick dessert fix. Ready in just minutes, it’s rich, moist, and satisfying!
Ingredients
4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (optional for chocolate lovers)
1/8 teaspoon of baking powder
1 pinch of salt
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
3 tablespoons of milk (or any milk alternative)
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil or melted butter
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
1. In a microwave-safe mug, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder (if using), baking powder, and salt until well combined.
2. Add the peanut butter, milk, vegetable oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until smooth.
3. Microwave on high for about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Check if it’s cooked through; if not, continue to microwave in 15-second increments until done.
4. Let it cool slightly before enjoying directly from the mug.
Notes
This mug cake is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a day. You can top it with whipped cream or more peanut butter for extra indulgence!
