Ingredients
2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and black pepper to create the seasoning blend.
2. Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the ribeye steaks.
3. Preheat a cast-iron skillet over high heat until very hot.
4. Add the seasoned steaks to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness (adjust cooking time for desired doneness).
5. While the steaks are cooking, prepare the Cajun cowboy butter by mixing softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl until well combined.
6. Once the steaks are cooked to your liking, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
7. Top each steak with a generous dollop of Cajun cowboy butter before serving.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the level of spice in the seasoning according to your taste preference. Serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes or grilled vegetables.
