Ingredients
For the Oreo Crust:
- 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, divided
- 4 tbsp melted butter

- 2 boxes (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- Extra Oreo cookies for crushing
- Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips
- Maraschino cherries (optional, but why not?)
Instructions
Take about 20 Oreos and crush them up — I like using a food processor, but a rolling pin and some anger works too.
Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter and a pinch of salt.
Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 pan or large trifle dish. Make it nice and even.
Pop it in the fridge while you work on the next layer.
Whisk together both boxes of pudding mix with the cold milk until thick (about 2 minutes of serious whisking).
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until you get soft peaks.
Fold half of the whipped cream into the pudding — this makes it extra fluffy and rich.
Spread this chocolate heaven over your Oreo crust.
Spread the container of whipped topping over the pudding layer — go edge to edge, people.
Crush up about 10 more Oreos and sprinkle them all over the top.
Add your chocolate shavings, mini chips, or whatever makes your heart happy.
Cover with plastic wrap and let this beauty chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours, but overnight is even better.
The longer it sits, the more the flavors meld together and the easier it is to cut clean slices.
