Ingredients
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
1 cup of milk
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
Zest of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, milk, eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Whisk until smooth.
3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
5. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
6. Bake in preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until golden brown on top.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
