Description
Okay, so imagine your favorite greasy, over-the-top bacon cheeseburger had a wild night out with taco Tuesday and nine months later, this beautiful creation was born. These Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Tacos are basically everything you love about a messy, delicious burger but wrapped up in a soft tortilla and topped with all the good stuff. We’re talking seasoned ground beef, crispy bacon, melted cheese, and all those classic burger toppings, but in handheld taco form. It’s like comfort food fusion at its finest — and honestly, it might just be better than both the original burger AND regular tacos. My husband took one bite and said, “This is it. This is what I want for my birthday dinner.” And you know what? I don’t blame him.

Instructions
Cook chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy (about 6-8 minutes).
Remove bacon but leave the fat in the pan — that’s liquid gold for flavor.
Add diced onion to the bacon fat and cook until softened (3-4 minutes).
Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned (6-8 minutes).
Stir in garlic, Worcestershire, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add half the cooked bacon back to the meat mixture.
Mix mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a small bowl.
Taste and adjust — want it tangier? More mustard. Sweeter? More relish.
Heat tortillas in a dry skillet, microwave, or wrap in foil and warm in a 350°F oven.
Keep them warm in a tortilla warmer or wrapped in a clean kitchen towel.
Spread a little special sauce on each tortilla.
Add a scoop of the burger meat mixture.
Top with both cheeses while the meat is still hot so they melt a bit.
Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onion, and pickles.
Dollop with sour cream and more special sauce.
Top with remaining bacon bits, crispy onions, and any other toppings you want.
Notes
Serve with seasoned fries or onion rings for the full burger experience.
Set up a taco bar with all the toppings so everyone can customize their own.
Pair with ice-cold beer or classic milkshakes for maximum nostalgia.
