Ingredients
1 lb ground pork sausage
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1-2 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped jalapenos, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
3. Shape the mixture into small patties (about 2-3 inches in diameter).
4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or oil.
5. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Notes
You can adjust the number of jalapenos based on your spice preference. These patties can also be frozen before cooking for later use.
