Ingredients

1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, chives, or basil)
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup melted butter


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
3. Stir in the shredded cheese and chopped herbs until well combined.
4. In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
6. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
