Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or thyme)
1 cup milk
1/4 cup olive oil
2 large eggs
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
3. Stir in the shredded cheese and chopped herbs until evenly distributed.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, olive oil, and eggs.
5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined; do not overmix.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
