You know that nostalgic, sticky, chocolatey, marshmallowy goodness of s’mores? Now imagine all of it wrapped up in a no-bake dessert bar that takes less than 15 minutes to throw together. Golden Graham S’mores Bars are basically childhood in dessert form. Crispy graham cereal, gooey marshmallows, and melty milk chocolate all collide in a sweet, crunchy, chewy bar that’s like Rice Krispies’ cooler cousin. No fire pit? No problem.
Ingredients
6 cups Golden Grahams cereal
1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows (plus 1 cup reserved)
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips (or chopped milk chocolate bars)
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Step 1: Get Prepped
Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil and lightly grease it. Set aside.
Step 2: Melt It Down
In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Add in the bag of mini marshmallows (reserve 1 cup for later) and stir until completely melted and smooth. Stir in the salt and vanilla extract.
Step 3: Mix the Magic
Turn off the heat and fold in the Golden Grahams cereal until fully coated. Add the reserved 1 cup of mini marshmallows and the chocolate chips, stirring just until they’re a little melty but still hold their shape. (This gives you those iconic gooey and chocolatey pockets.)
Step 4: Press and Cool
Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press it down evenly using a greased spatula or clean hands. Let cool at room temperature for about 1 hour until set. Slice into bars and devour.
Notes
Serve them with a tall glass of cold milk
Microwave a bar for 10 seconds for an extra gooey treat
Top with a few extra mini marshmallows and torch them if you want to get fancy
