Description

Holy moly, get ready for the most genius cheeseburger hack ever: Garlic Butter Cheeseburger Rollups that take everything you love about a juicy burger and wrap it up in flaky crescent dough with a ridiculous amount of garlic butter. We’re talking seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, pickles, and all the burger fixings rolled up into these golden, handheld pockets of pure joy. They’re brushed with garlic butter that’ll make your whole house smell like heaven, and they’re so good you’ll forget regular burgers even exist. Perfect for game day, picky eaters, or when you want burger vibes but with way more fun and way less mess.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Beef Filling:

1 lb ground beef (80/20 is perfect for flavor)

1/2 medium onion, finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

For Assembly:

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for extra melt factor)

1/4 cup dill pickles, finely chopped and patted dry

2 tbsp bacon bits (optional but recommended)

For the Garlic Butter:

4 tbsp butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

1/4 tsp garlic powder

Pinch of salt

For Serving:

Extra ketchup and mustard for dipping

Ranch dressing (trust me on this)

Pickles on the side

Sesame seeds for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Beef It Up

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and onion together, breaking up the meat as it cooks.

When beef is browned and onion is soft (about 8 minutes), add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.

Step 2: Season That Meat

Drain excess grease from the pan (leave just a little for flavor).

Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and all the seasonings.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes to let flavors meld.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly (you don’t want to melt the dough!).

Step 3: Assembly Station

Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.

On each triangle, place about 2 tablespoons of beef mixture toward the wide end.

Top with a good pinch of both cheeses, a few pickle pieces, and bacon bits if using.

Don’t overfill or they’ll be impossible to roll!

Step 4: Roll ‘Em Up

Starting at the wide end, roll up each triangle toward the point.

Pinch the edges to seal in all that cheesy goodness.

Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.

Curve them slightly into a crescent shape if you’re feeling fancy.

Step 5: Garlic Butter Magic

Mix melted butter with minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, and salt.

Brush generously over each rollup before baking.

Save some garlic butter for brushing again after baking.

Step 6: Bake to Golden Perfection

Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.

They should look like little golden pillows of heaven.

Remove from oven and immediately brush with remaining garlic butter.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds if you’re going for that burger bun aesthetic.

Step 7: Serve Hot and Watch Them Disappear

Let cool for 2-3 minutes (molten cheese warning!).

Serve with ketchup, mustard, and ranch for dipping.

Watch people fight over the last one.

Notes

Serve with sweet potato fries or regular fries for the full burger experience.

A simple side salad makes this feel like a complete meal.

Perfect finger food for parties — just make a double batch.
