Description

Deliciously rich and savory, this Garlic Butter Bucatini is the perfect comfort food. The combination of garlic, butter, and al dente pasta creates a simple yet satisfying dish that can be enjoyed any day of the week.

Ingredients

Scale

12 ounces bucatini pasta
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt, to taste
Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bucatini and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

4. Reserve 1 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the bucatini.
5. Add the drained bucatini to the skillet with garlic butter. Toss well to coat.
6. If needed, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired sauce consistency.
7. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
8. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
9. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
