These Firecracker Chicken Skewers are packed with flavor and a delightful kick of spice, perfect for grilling season or a quick weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust for spice level)
1 tbsp rice vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked skewers.
5. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
6. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
7. Garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For an extra kick, serve with additional sriracha or a spicy dipping sauce on the side! Adjust marination time according to your taste preference.
