Ingredients

3 cups of shredded unsweetened coconut
1 cup of sweetened condensed milk
2 large egg whites
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of salt


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, egg whites, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until combined.
3. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop small mounds of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
5. Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

You can dip the bottoms of the macaroons in melted chocolate for an extra treat! Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
