A deliciously tangy and cheesy chicken dish that combines the flavors of dill pickles and parmesan cheese for an unforgettable meal.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup dill pickle juice
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Marinate the chicken breasts in dill pickle juice for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
3. In a shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
4. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
5. Remove the chicken from the pickle juice and dip each piece into the beaten eggs, letting excess drip off.
6. Dredge the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
7. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown on the outside.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding chopped fresh dill or mustard powder to the breadcrumb mixture.
