Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound Cajun chicken sausage, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced Cajun chicken sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
4. Reduce heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly.
6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
7. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
