Ingredients
6 large eggs
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon white vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Paprika for garnish
Chives or green onions, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing it to a boil, then covering and letting them sit off the heat for 12 minutes.
2. After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for about 5 minutes.
3. Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
4. Mash the egg yolks with a fork and mix in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
6. Sprinkle paprika on top for garnish and add chopped chives or green onions if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add ingredients like hot sauce or relish to the yolk mixture. Adjust seasoning based on your taste preferences.
